A few days ago the Seahawks sighed line backer Matt McCoy to a one year contract. McCoy comes to Seattle after spending the last two seasons in Tampa Bay. He played in 12 games in 2009 (two starts), recording nine tackles. An original 2005 second-round pick by Philadelphia, McCoy spent two-plus seasons with Philadelphia before finishing the 2007 season with New Orleans.

I think this is a pretty good move, we could use the extra help in that position. Hopefully he can make a strong impact on the team and get those guys pumped up a little.
